From an IT standpoint this pandemic has exposed the flaws and tested the limits of company’s IT capabilities like nothing ever has. The pandemic has forced businesses to work from home, schools to teach remotely, and houses of worship to hold virtual services. Since the pandemic hit in March ACCI has been in the field servicing, upgrading, and installing low voltage infrastructure to meet the needs of our clients in these complex times.
Safety Procedures Implemented at ACCI
- Masks and PPE have been issued to all employees with access to more as needed.
- Hand sanitizers placed in all company vehicles and issued to all employees.
- Temperature screening of technicians
- Offices and workspaces have been spread out to allow for social distancing.
- Approximately 50% of office staff work from home on any given day.
Alarming Industry Trend
Since 1987 ACCI has been a reliable low voltage partner serving the Tampa Bay area. We stand behind the quality of all the work we do. We will not install/sell products that are not proven to work or that we cannot guarantee. This has become an issue in the industry lately with boom in thermal cameras. Many manufacturers are scrambling to get cheap thermal cameras to market and many unscrupulous installers are rushing to sell these untested products to their customers. Industry watchdogs such as IPVM and others have been vigorously testing these new “fever cameras” with alarming results. Many can be easily tricked, and many have variances that can report high numbers of false negatives.
